Do you have ASSURANCE of SALVATION?

Friend, the Bible clearly teaches that you can know for sure that if you died, you will go to Heaven.  I John 5:13...  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye know that ye have eternal life.  Here is how to prepare:

SALVATION and RELIGION are not the same thing.  Religion is what a person may DO to try and save their soul.  They never have assurance because they never know if they have done ENOUGH to get to heaven.  SALVATION is what God gives to a lost sinner who knows that he/she cannot earn the way to heaven and is willing to TRUST God's Son.  He did ENOUGH!  ( Thank God!!  That is why Jesus Christ is called the Saviour).

1.  You must know that you are a lost sinner:
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin,...
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2.  You need to realize that you will stand before the Lord one day and give account unto Him for your life:
Romans 14:12  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

If you die in your sins He will have to cast your soul into hell.
Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear;  Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

3.  You must realize you cannot do anything to save or help save your soul;
Ephesians 2:8&9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

4.  You must realize that the Lord Jesus Christ did everything necessary to save your soul and that His blood was shed as a payment to take away your sins so you can be forgiven;
I Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God....
Ephesians 1:7  In who we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Romans 4:25  Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 5:8-10  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  For if, we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

5.  You must REPENT; (Be willing for the Lord to change your life.)
Acts 20:21  Testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks; repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

6.  By faith you must receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior,  trust Him and His grace alone to save you, confessing Him as Lord, calling upon Him to save you from Hell, and your sin:
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name;
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you would like to be saved, we invite you to call upon the Lord Jesus and be saved today;

Dear Lord Jesus:

I know that I am a lost sinner and cannot save myself.  I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead to completely pay for my salvation.  I am willing for you to save and change my life.  The best way I know how, I now trust you as my Saviour and receive you into my heart.  Please help me to live for you.  Thank you for dying for me.  In Jesus name I pray, amen.
